Lalalala a long rambling post
I’m at a very blah moment right now. I’m talking to a friend who lives in switzerland and she’s just as bored as I am. That’s pretty random, I know, but honestly I’m just posting this to have something to do and it’s not like anybody cares because nobody reads my lovely blog. So I will continue to ramble about totally random things.
A girl in Bellasugar has gone off makeup and regular grooming products for a month and instead she’s using all natural stuff she’s making herself. In one post she tries to make her own eyeliner by burning an almond and using the burned stuff as eyeliner. I was curious that I tried it. But we didn’t have almonds so I used a pecan and it kind of worked . It was very tricky to put it on but it didn’t look half bad.
Actually I have quite an extensive summer reading list but instead of taking care of it I’m burning nuts and posting stuff on a blog nobody reads.
Monday
I´m on summer break so I basically do nothing all day other than watch tv or the third season of skins (I´m totally addicted to that show). Since I did really well in school last year my parents generously agreed to my request for an iMac and on Monday we were going to go to the Istore and get it but my dad found a list of Apple dealers in Peru (where I live) and he said we should at least call some of the places before we went to the Istore. I was a little reluctant but I agreed to call one place before we left. My dad chose a place called E-Market that´s really close to where my mom works. He called and asked if they had the iMac I wanted ( the one with Snow Leopard and the new cordless mouse and key board), they had it aaaand it was cheaper than the one at the Istore aaaaaaaand it came with a lot of free software. We went to check this place out, because it kind of sounded like a scam, but when we got there it was totally legit. My dad bought the computer and they said it would take a couple of hours to load the programs I wanted and since it was around 1 we went to my mom´s office to have lunch with her.
On the way to the restaurant I saw a Joan Miro show that was open to the public, anyone could go in, I asked my dad if we could go there after lunch and he said we could go there now because there was a restaurant in the same building. After lunch my dad said he would walk my mom back to the office, get the computer, take it to the car and then he would pick me up from the show.
I spent nearly an hour looking at his paintings and drawings. This was my favorite one. It´s called “Miro mirando”

After the show my dad took me home. As soon as I got there I put my brand new iMac on my desk. I felt like a kid on christmas morning. I guess I was so busy playing with my new toy that I lost track of time and before I knew it, it was already 7 and my brother and I had to go to the theater, because I got him tickets to see The Crucible as a birthday present (he´s only thirteen…). The play was at 8 and we had to beat rush hour traffic. We got there with 3 minutes to spare. Since we didn´t have dinner he begged me to buy him a really expensive , really small, croissant. But I didn´t care, I was just so happy that he was happy because he was finally going to see this play.
Hello world! (my first post)
Hello. This is going to be the typical first blog post and hopefully not the only one. I’m not from France or any other place where they speak French, but I love the language. I go to school in the southern hemisphere so I’m on summer break right now and next year I’ll be a senior in high school. I love summer, the only thing I can’t stand about it are the bugs. Right now I’m a little sick because I went out on Friday night and I didn’t wear a jacket, but as soon as I’m cured and healthy again I’m going to hit the pool or the beach or just bike up and down my street or anything that lets me enjoy the gorgeous sun.
